Powers:
Phororhacos is a large prehistoric flightless predatory bird, eight to ten feet tall, that mainly inhabited South America. These birds were nicknamed "Terror Birds" because they were one of the largest predatory birds that ever lived. "Terror Birds" have hooked beaks as well as clawed wings to help them catch prey. When Captain Nemo arrived at the Mysterious Island, he found that Phorusrhacos was still living on the island, and domesticated and bred the beasts, in an attempt to end world hunger. Once the giant birds became out of control, Nemo attempted to kill the birds, however many escaped andbecame wild once more.

A Silver result on a roll on Animal Handling skill or similar Talent or Speciality would allow a character to use a Phororhacos as a Steed (as per Giant Riding Bird, FASERIPopedia, page 337).

STRIKE (Decent): The Phororhacos can kick with its clawed legs for Decent intensity Lethal Melee or bite. Its bite also does Decent intensity damage but the bird also has a chance of Slamming anyone it catches in its beak with a +1RS bonus on the Slam roll.
