The Tyrant has no powers as such but he is an adept at the Tibetan form of kung fu which he has bowdlerized into a wild form of brawling that seems more chaotic and undisciplined than it actually is. Where the Tyrant really can go head to head with genuine superbeings is through use of his profusion of gadgets and gimmicks.

GIMMICK (Fantastic): Tyrant Laboratories - in an underground facility in Mammoth City, California the Tyrant has converted abandoned mine workings into a tunnel complex where, when not elsewhere on a case, he lives and works in what amounts to a billionair's survival bunker. Part of this bunker is a set of laboratories where he produces his Wizardry Gimmicks.

Notes:
The Tyrant fights crime with a ruthless dedication but for him it is still "sport." He has no dark motivation or psychological driver. Having said that, he is relentless when on a case. He is an extremely competitive man.
