Speed Centaur is a member of a race of Centaurs that lived in the Arctic until an earthquake hit. Everyone except Speed died in the process. He was discovered and brought to America by "Reel" McCoy, a reporter for the Daily Views. After Speed reached adulthood, he decided to fight crime. Speed has the same basic Powers as had all Arctic Centaurs. In addition, he has SUPER SPEED, being the fastest of his now-extinct race.

LIFE SUPPORT (Cold) (World Class): like all Arctic Centaurs, Speed is immune to the effects of cold.

FLIGHT (World Class) (superseded by his Super Speed in terms of Rank): like all Arctic Centaurs, Speed has the power of levitation and flight without requiring wings. It is seemingly a psychic ability, meaning that Psyche and not Endurance determines how long Speed can maintain his Flight. Spoiler: not very long.
