Powers:
Centuries ago, a legendary warrior called "Iron Ace" fought by Charlemagne's side for France. When Iron Ace died, Charlemagne predicted that he would return as "the champion of freedom." During World War Two, Captain Robert Britain, a British pilot, is shot down over France and forced to hide in the castle of Dr. LaFarge. LaFarge is the leader of a resistance group, but the Germans shoot him after they track Britain to his castle.
Captain Britain puts on the old armour (still in perfect shape) of the Iron Ace and kills the Germans in the castle with the Ace's sword. He then makes himself a plane which is also covered in plate armor similar to that he himself wears and, still wearing the Ace's plate armour, takes to the skies and kills a large number of Germans. He retired from active service and superhero activities after VJ Day and retired to live in Chateau LaFarge.
His plane, his armor and his various war souvenirs are still housed in the chateau which has remained in the Britain family since 1945. It is currently also listed as un Grand Site de France, a place of national historical significance and importance. This is due to the combination of its unique role in in World War 2 as well as the stunning location and preservation of Chateau LaFarge itself.
Iron Ace Monoplane
Iron Ace built a monoplane from spare parts and lightweight alloy armor that was capable of flying at competitive top speed while still enjoying the impressive protection of the armor. Converting the single person cockpit of a Spitfire, Iron Ace has created a dual person cockpit with a separate seat behind his own cockpit as pilot. Bulletproof polymer replaces the normal glass canopy and the canopy polymer is also bubble configuration to minimize drag.
Ceiling: 36,000 feet; maximum range 480 miles before refueling, if in combat or other high performance this cuts the range to 200 miles or less; 3-bladed constant speed Rotol propeller (scavenged from Spitfire); 370 miles per hour; 4 x .303 Browning cannon fitted two per wing. The cannon are mounted and calibrated to deliver Fantastic intensity damage to any target in the air within 500 yards or when attacking a ground target the same damage from an altitude of 5,000 feet or less. Each 1,000 feet higher reduces the damage -1RS.
