The Duke of Darkness was Paddy Sullivan, a police officer from an unnamed American city. When he was killed in the line of duty, Paddy discovered that he continued to exist as an "Earth-bound spirit." He decided to continue fighting crime as the Duke of Darkness.

    Permanently On - The Duke of Darkness is permanently intangible - his Phasing is permanently on. He must make a feat roll on his Power to be physical for up to standard duration. When fully phased / intangible his FASE is unusable and the Duke of Darkness exists as an invisible ghost-like entity only able to use his RIP.
