Powers:
Calvin "Comics" McCormick is a Mutant human. His Psyche is incredibly powerful. He daydreams and dreams during his night's sleep, effortlessly entering into the Dream-Lands and while there participating in comicbook adventures in Dream-Land versions of his favorite comic strips. His Powers are almost always channeled through his Dreaming power but also fuels his Dial P for Power, which, although often expressing itself in his Dream-Lands adventures -does not have to; "Comics McCormick" can in fact assume a superhero alter ego in real life too if he chooses to.

  • ALTER EGO - Narrow Effect Limitation - Calvin can manifest an Alter Ego either in the Dream-Lands or in real life. This Alter Ego will have super powers matching whatever the current adventure needs, usually also matching those of an existing hero in a strip he has just read.


    • Contacts: Little Conqueror's Athletic and Reading Club - a group of young boys like Calvin who get together to read comics and have adventures. It tends to be sexist and try and exclude girls but it is "Comics" McCormick who strongly argues against this. The Club is named after Little Conqueror, one of the few heroic alter egos that "Comics" McCormick assumes more than once and who he dressed as by default in the real world when on an adventure.

    Rosalie Brown, the first of several girls who joins the Little Conqueror's Athletic and Reading Club.


    Limitations:

    Notes:: "Comics" McCormick outgrew his comics obsession to some extent, becoming a lifelong comicbook collector and eventually a comicbook writer and artist. His daughter is a conventional person who gave up a career in accountancy to be a wife and mother. However, his grandson and namesake Calvin inherited his Dream Control - Dreaming power, albeit at World Class rather than Phenomenal intensity.
